Look who is back! I know its been a while but my vacation went well, I
landed safely and I took a few days to rub off that jet-lag. So over my
vacation and the past few days I have been coming up with ways to expand
my horizons a little and try some new stuff. I hope you enjoy it.
Today I decided to feature one of the first new things set out to buy, the moment I saw it, I knew I had to have it. Took me a while to get the time to go get it but here it is. The Hanna dress by [Pull]. It comes in four different styles with various colors and bottoms. I personally really like the transparent skirt. Showing off those long beautiful legs and those stylish shows we all take forever to pick out. The dress is mesh so its a perfect fit every time! The texture is what makes or breaks a good quality piece. The textures on this dress are extremely realistic, as if it is just screaming to be yanked right out of your screen to be put on (we can only wish thou)!
To keep the styling simple, I wanted to accent some of the new essentials to a girls wardrobe, not only is your jewellery and accessories important but your look and features as well.
Okay now for the styling, this is where I also tried to break out of my usual habits, and guess what I succeeded too! I am sure you have all see my Alice lipsticks, the only set I would wear....I am extremely picky with lipstick.... And I have found a new love. Sold in two separate sets by Diamond Style (or it can be found on the marketplace under Diamond Avatar- link in the styling section). I know I know it only took me 3 years to buy another set and this set is just amazing. The quality is to die for and again the colors are so realistic and in such a wide color palate that I just had to buy both sets! Psst, yes both sets are affordable at only 250L for 9 colors each.
And again, you've all seen my Scarlet nails, they fit so perfectly I was not sure if I could ever find a set to rival. I did, with a little help from a good mentor, I found simple nails of the same quality in all sorts of colors. These are not prim nails, but glove bases, simple and perfect for the runway since of course they are lag free. Candy Nail has a great selection of nail bases as well as some lovely prim nails! And here is a hint, I have talked to some people, and learned something new about prim nails so for all of you reading this it is your lucky day: NEVER edit prim nails, if they are not fitting right it is probably just SL acting up, once they are edited you will never have them in the right place, it is virtually impossible. Just make sure you have the right size on, maybe re-log but never edit them. And if you are going to for a pose or as needed, make sure you make a copy so you do not have to trash em afterwards.
Shoes are always a must, unless your on a beach with this beauty of a dress, but I decided to pair it with an old sandal I have had for as long as I can remember. It is always my go to shoe. Fits perfect, looks great and it supper comfy.

Eyelashes.
Again my Marilyn Obsidian lashes lasted me three years, but with a
little advice from some fellow models I opened up and tried on
something new. The lashes are from the "Real Lashes" collection at CCD.
I mean wow, I could buy the whole collection if I could. I recommend
you make a visit and check them out!

You
always have to add a little color to your face, and since I was already
posed and ready to go I decided to raid the marketplace for a little
something extra, and hey, I liked what I found. A nice light blush for a
swoop of color across the checks and a dark cat eye liner to accent
the lashes. It worked well so I went with it. If your ever in a tight
fix, all you need to do is give it a look up, get some new stores in
mind and go visit them in world!
